What (Why) is This?
For most of my life I've been curious and contemplative.
What is true... what is right... what is reason-able?
Born in 1969, I was thoroughly deep-dipped growing up on the East Coast, being shaped (indoctrinated, imprinted) by a myriad of ingredients — cartoons, Gilligan's Island, et al... t.v. dinners, public school, Ivy League... decades of believing I knew what I "knew"... all amidst the proverbial ensemble of beliefs, stories, presumptions, assumptions, bypasses, and more, with all the corresponding blame, shame, dramas, and traumas to go with it.
I came West in 1990 and have since called the San Francisco Bay Area my home, the past 25+ years on Marin County, a place I've come to love where the ocean meets the sea. I’ve had a career as a professional photographer and visual artist, creating an array of life-affirming things and experiences spanning interactive art, foreign soils, the transformation of billboards, salons, galleries, and more.*

In 2020, I found myself entering an entirely new gear of contemplation in response to 'Covid-19'. This led to a profound, often disorienting, journey of inquiry — a process of unfurling that ultimately revealed a conclusion of how little I could (can) trust the information that had been presented to me throughout the brief arc of this miraculous and mysterious life.
Trust in God... but tie your camel.
This translated for me into the quest (need) to activate my own (Creator-endowed) reason and conscience in the quest to form and have my own opinions. Amidst has been a commitment to bear my own faithful witness to whatever the topic, while seeking knowledge, inner-standings, and tools that empower through application and choice.
This journey has led to The Unincorporated Way — a portal (and UNA) through which liberty and self-authorship may be claimed in the private by living in alignment with natural law. Here, the focus is on simplifying the complex while stripping away the obfuscations and distractions of modern systems to help take practical, empowered steps in the journey toward personal liberty and responsibility (response-ability).
Keep it simple.
What does it mean to be a living, sentient being under natural law, subject to the jurisdiction of your Creator? What does it mean to use your own reason and conscience to wield your will? What does it mean to stand in truth, honor, integrity, and grace, empowered by the knowledge that you have the right to contract and freely associate with others in the private?
The journey is personal, practical, and spiritual, requiring a renewal of the mind in letting go of false narratives, while embracing truths about how to live in alignment and empowerment with what is true / who we really are.
