MEMBERSHIP & WEBSITE AGREEMENT

The Unincorporated Way is a private unincorporated nonprofit association formed by women and men who voluntarily associate in good faith around education, contemplation, liberty, responsibility, conscience, honor, empowerment, wisdom, wise action, and that which is life-affirming.


This website serves as a portal for the Association and its members.
Membership is free, voluntary, and entered by mutual consent.


The writings, conversations, resources, Knowledge Shares, gatherings, and other offerings made available through this space are provided for educational, informational, inspirational, contemplative, spiritual, and empowerment purposes. Nothing offered through the Association is represented as individualized legal, tax, financial, medical, or other licensed professional advice.


By voluntarily becoming a member, you agree to the following.

  • Private and Voluntary Participation
    You participate freely and in your own capacity. Membership does not create an employment, agency, partnership, fiduciary, or professional relationship unless separately and expressly agreed.

    Participation may include voluntary contributions, offerings, reimbursements, exchanges, or payments connected with particular activities or services. Their legal or tax character depends upon the actual circumstances and applicable law and is not determined merely by this Agreement.


  • Personal Responsibility and Discernment
    You remain responsible for your own feelings, choices, interpretations, actions, and use of information encountered through the Association. You are encouraged to inquire, contemplate, verify, exercise discernment, and make decisions according to your own conscience and understanding.

    No particular personal, financial, legal, spiritual, health, or other outcome is promised or guaranteed.

  • Private Exchange
    The parties intend their relationship and exchanges to be private and voluntary; Nothing in this Agreement is intended to make a representation concerning the tax treatment of any particular payment, contribution, gift, or exchange, which shall be determined according to its actual character and applicable law;


  • Honor and Good Faith
    Members agree to interact with one another with honesty, dignity, kindness, respect, reasonable care, and good faith.

    Bad faith, harassment, fraud, intentional harm, material interference with Association activities, abuse of another member's trust, or other serious breaches of this Agreement may result in restriction or termination of membership or access.


  • Privacy and Confidentiality
    The privacy of members and the trust of this space are to be honored.

    Confidential personal communications, private member information, recordings, or materials identified as confidential are not to be disclosed outside the Association without the permission of the woman or man concerned, except where disclosure is required by applicable law.


  • Association Materials
    Original writings, recordings, templates, educational materials, designs, tools, and other resources remain the property of their respective creator or owner unless expressly stated otherwise.

    Materials provided through the Association may be used for personal learning and Association-related purposes but may not be reproduced, publicly distributed, sold, or commercially exploited without permission.


  • Trespass and Liability
    Should I breach this agreement or violate its terms through interference, bad faith, frivolous legal intrusion, or other dishonorable acts, I understand this would con    stitute a trespass in the private, for which I may be held liable; A material breach may result in termination of membership and access and, where appropriate, recovery of actual damages, injunctive or equitable relief, or such other remedy as may lawfully be available;


  • Peaceful Resolution
    Should a disagreement arise, members agree first to make an earnest good-faith effort to communicate directly and seek peaceful remedy.

    Where useful, those involved may mutually agree to mediation or another private means of resolution before pursuing litigation. Nothing herein prevents any person from seeking lawful / equitable relief where reasonably necessary.


  • Membership 
    Membership may be ended voluntarily at any time.

    The Association may suspend or end membership where a material breach of this Agreement, the Association's governing documents, or the trust of the community has occurred.

    This Agreement may occasionally be refined as the Association evolves. Members will be given reasonable notice of material changes rather than being deemed to have accepted significant new terms merely through passive website use.


By affirmatively choosing to become a member, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to read this Agreement and voluntarily agree to participate upon these terms.
